How it Works

Step 1 - Backup your data

The Start Backup service enables you to automatically backup all your valuable data every day of the year.

Once the backup software has been installed and configured the service will securely transmit your data to our data centre at the time specified. Once this initial backup has been carried out only the changes in to the files and data is transmitted. This keeps the amount of data transmitted to a minimum ensuring that your data is backed up as quickly as possible.

After every backup you will receive a detailed report of what was backed up by email. You will also receive an email if your backup is missed or there are problems with your backup.

Step 2 - Restore your data

Once backed up your data can be restored to the original computer or to any other computer in the world using our secure web page.

For added security the restore process can be restricted to only allow data to be restored via the secure webpage if carried out from certain IP addresses.
